Course on legal writing and oral advocacy

Last week, our Hamburg-based colleagues Nico Gielen, Edward L. Rensmann and Dr Christian Johannes Wahnschaffe were invited to the University of Münster to teach a course on legal writing and oral advocacy, marking the start of the moot season.

Drawing on their experience as participants, coaches, and practitioners, they shared practical insights into effective legal writing and persuasive oral pleading. This year’s participants included teams from the Concours européen des droits de l'homme René Cassin, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

It is inspiring to see the next generation of advocates develop their skills and passion for international law. We wish all teams every success and lots of fun in this year’s moot season!
